Live Coverage: Champions League quarter-final draw - as it happened

Manchester United will take on Champions League holders Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League following this morning's draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

Chelsea will have to see off Paris Saint-Germain over two legs in order to book themselves a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.

For the Spanish contingent, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will go head to head, while Real Madrid will take on Borussia Dortmund in the final eight.

The first legs of each tie will take place on April 1 and 2, with the return legs being played on April 8 and 9.

11.41amManchester Untied club secretary John Alexander has been speaking after the draw: "It's an exciting tie," BBC Sport quotes Alexander as saying. "Bayern are a fantastic side, but we have to take heart from our performance the other night against Olympiacos. "Our staff are very thorough and will have done their homework and will be prepared for Bayern. If we can keep them quiet in the first leg and get an advantage then we're more than capable of stealing an away goal."

11.40amJamie Redknapp believes that United manager David Moyes will be "disappointed" by the draw. Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "I think it's the worst draw possible. They're an incredible side, Bayern. They have that belief after winning it last year."

While Jurgen Klopp's side reached the final last season, they're threat has diminished slightly due to recent performances and the fact that they are 23 points behind Bayern in the Bundesliga.

11.30amOnly one point currently separates the two clubs in the league table, with Atletico edging ahead of Barcelona in second place. This is also the first time these two sides have gone head to head in the elite tournament.
