Basel manager Murat Yakin has expressed his annoyance after his side surrendered a comfortable lead to draw at Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
The Swiss outfit blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Spurs at White Hart Lane in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.
Despite taking two away goals into the second leg, Yakin is disappointed with the way his side let the lead slip away.
"I'm perhaps annoyed that we have not won tonight," Yakin told Sky Sports News. "We got off to a great start and focused on what we had to do and set out to attack.
"We scored the opener and quickly added the second, and obviously it is a pity we could not add more, but we were playing against a good side in Tottenham.
"The draw was good for us and certainly a positive ahead of the second leg."
The return leg takes place on Thursday.
