Video: Javier Mascherano sent off for kicking medic

Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano was shown a red card in incredible conditions on Tuesday night after kicking out at a medic who was taking him off the field on a stretcher.

The 29-year-old was being taken from the pitch during the 89th minute of Argentina's 1-1 draw in Ecuador before aiming a kick at the buggy driver on several occasions.

The former Liverpool man removed himself from the vehicle before being duly sent off by the referee.
