However, the emergence of Martin Montoya at Camp Nou has led to suggestions that the 30-year-old faces a fight to earn a spot in the team next season.
According to Football Espana, that has alerted PSG, who are keen to add one more marquee signing to their squad this summer.
However, it is believed that Barcelona will refuse to sell Alves to a direct Champions League rival.
