Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly tabled a contract offer to Lionel Messi amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding his Barcelona future.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner is officially a free agent after running down his Blaugrana deal, but the Catalan club are thought to be confident of tying him down for a further two years.
However, contract talks with the Argentine are supposedly being held up due to financial fair play concerns, and PSG are ready to take advantage of the situation.
According to AS, PSG have tabled a lucrative contract offer to the 34-year-old, who would pocket more money at the Parc des Princes than with Barcelona.
The report adds that PSG are in no rush to get a deal over the line while Messi focuses on Argentina's Copa America exploits, with the attacker having a hand in all three of his country's goals in their 3-0 quarter-final win over Ecuador.
Messi now boasts four goals and four assists from five games at the Copa America as Argentina prepare to face Colombia in Tuesday's semi-final.
