Lionel Messi insists on Barcelona stay

Lionel Messi has said that he wants to stay at Barcelona for the rest of his career.

The Argentine forward made the comments following his side's 4-0 victory over Getafe at home in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last-16 tie on Wednesday.

"My idea is to stay here and finish my career at Barcelona," Goal.com quotes the 26-year-old as saying.

Messi scored twice on his return from a thigh injury against Getafe.
