Barcelona have announced that Pau Cubarsi has signed a new contract at Camp Nou until June 2029.
Cubarsi broke into the Barcelona first team last season, ending the campaign with 24 appearances in all competitions, and he has again been a key player this term, making 36 outings for Hansi Flick's side.
Barcelona have been working to sign the 18-year-old to a fresh contract in recent months, and the club have now officially announced it, with Cubarsi's deal now due to run until the end of the 2028-29 campaign.
"FC Barcelona and player Pau Cubarsi have reached an agreement to extend his contract, which will link him to the club until June 30, 2029," read a statement from the Catalan giants.
"The Barca defender signed the contract extension this Thursday at noon in an event with FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta; first vice-president Rafa Yuste; and the club's sporting director Anderson Luis de Souza 'Deco'".

Cubarsi signs new long-term deal at Barcelona
"Hey Cules, I'm very happy to extend my contract. I hope to play at the new Spotify Camp Nou. Visca el Barca," he told Barca One.
"My objective was to renew with the club, to play with the best shirt in the world. Being a Barca player is a unique sensation. I can't describe it with words. It's a source of pride."
Cubarsi has followed in the footsteps of Pedri, Gavi and Ronald Araujo by signing his new deal, with Barcelona currently securing the futures of a number of their important players.
However, the Catalan giants still have some big decisions to make when it comes to some key players, with Inigo Martinez and Wojciech Szczesny only having deals with the club until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
