Ivan Rakitic bids farewell to Neymar

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic becomes the latest player to bid farewell to Neymar ahead of his world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has become the latest player to bid farewell to Neymar ahead of his world-record switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar is on the verge of ending his four-year stay at Camp Nou after PSG triggered his €222m (£198.6m) release clause, with the 25-year-old having reportedly agreed a five-year deal in the French capital worth £515,000 per week.

Neymar's strike partners Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have already publicly said their goodbyes to the Brazilian, and Rakitic has now also taken to Instagram to wish him good luck for the future.

Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barcelona and was part of the MSN front three which netted 364 times in their three seasons together.
