Denis Suarez to rejoin Barcelona from Villarreal

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has revealed that Denis Suarez will rejoin the Spanish champions in this summer's transfer window.

Suarez, 22, represented Barcelona B between 2013 and 2015, before making the move to Villarreal last summer.

Barcelona retained a buy-back clause in the attacker's contract, however, and Fernandez has confirmed that Suarez will return to Camp Nou after impressing during the 2015-16 campaign.

"Villarreal already have notification. They know, and on July 1 it will be official," Fernandez told Mundo Deportivo.

Suarez made his Spain debut in last week's 3-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina.
