Barcelona target Didier Drogba?

Barcelona have reportedly emerged as surprise contenders for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

The 34-year-old is widely expected to leave the Blues at the end of the season when his contract expires, with a host of clubs interested in his services.

Barcelona have made subtle enquiries, according to Mundo Deportivo, with the club understood to see the Ivorian as an ideal impact player.

Drogba has scored three goals in his last six meetings with the La Liga outfit – his last coming in this season's Champions League semi-final.
