Barcelona 'to offload eight players this summer'

Barcelona are reportedly prepared to sell as many as eight players during the next transfer window in a bid to balance the books and raise funds for new players.

Recent arrival Martin Braithwaite is reportedly one of eight players who will be made available by Barcelona this summer.

Despite alleged uncertainty behind the scenes regarding the signing of fresh faces, Braithwaite was brought to Camp Nou in January as an emergency replacement for the injured Luis Suarez.

However, according to Sport, the Denmark international will be allowed to leave the Catalan giants during the next transfer window.

The report claims that Barcelona are also ready to invite offers for the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho.

Neto, Samuel Umtiti, Carles Alena, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic are said to complete the list of possible departures from the La Liga leaders.

Club officials want to begin a new era for the club once football resumes after the coronavirus outbreak.
