Agent: 'Yerry Mina has Barcelona deal in place'

Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina has "a pre-agreement" with Spanish champions Barcelona, according to the Colombian's agent.

Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina has signed "a pre-agreement" with Barcelona, according to the Colombian's agent.

The 22-year-old, who netted for his country against Uruguay last week, joined Palmeiras from Colombian outfit Santa Fe earlier this year.

A number of clubs have been linked with the centre-back, but according to Mina's agent, the player has already agreed a deal to join Barcelona.

"Yes, a pre-agreement was signed and there's the possibility that the kid goes to Barcelona," the agent told Radio Carocol. "It's only a pre-agreement, so there's still the chance that other teams to make an offer, so any move would depend on circumstances and the desire of the player - other top European teams are interested."

Barcelona are yet to comment on the situation surrounding Mina.
