Tito Vilanova calm ahead of first El Clasico

Vilanova not worried about first El Clasico

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has insisted that he is not worried about facing Real Madrid for the first time since replacing Pep Guardiola.

Vilanova, whose Barcelona side face Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the season tonight, has said that there are "more important things in life" than the result of the Spanish Super Cup.

"I don't have anything riding on the result of this game," Vilanova said. "I like to experience this profession calmly. I am sorry, but there are more important things in my life.

"I know it is important, but I couldn't do my job properly if I was worrying whether the world would fall on top of me if we lost."

Barcelona currently top La Liga after a 5-1 opening-day win over Real Sociedad.
