Josep Maria Bartomeu: 'Barcelona working on new signings'

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu reveals that the Spanish side are working on their transfer plans for next season, despite an ongoing transfer ban.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed that the Catalan outfit are working on their transfer plans for next season.

As it stands, the Spanish outfit cannot sign any new players until January 2016 due to their two-window transfer ban.

However, it is understood that deals can be agreed this summer and Bartomeu has revealed that plans are underway.

"It's true that we have a FIFA ban and cannot sign players until January 2016. We are working on players that could arrive and others who can go. We are preparing for next season but we will give you names then," Bartomeu told RMC.

Bartomeu, however, has played down talk that the Spanish club could move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
