Lionel Messi is named on the Barcelona bench for tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich at the Camp Nou.

Lionel Messi has been named among the Barcelona substitutes for tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich at the Camp Nou.

The Spaniards will start the match 4-0 down on aggregate following last week's defeat at the Allianz Arena.

Alex Song is part of a Barca midfield that includes Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, while Pedro, Cesc Fabregas and David Villa lead the attack.

Dante misses out for Bayern through illness, meaning that Daniel van Buyten is brought into the defence. Mario Mandzukic is selected up front in place of Mario Gomez.

Gerard Pique and Alex Song both start on yellow cards for the hosts, while the visitors have Philipp Lahm, Javi Martinez and Bastian Schweinsteiger all one caution away from missing the final.

Barca: Valdes; Alves, Bartra, Pique, Adriano; Xavi, Song, Iniesta; Pedro, Fabregas, Villa
Subs: Pinto, Montoya, Thiago Alcantara, Dos Santos, Alexis Sanchez, Messi, Tello

Bayern: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Van Buyten, Alaba; Robben, Javi Martinez, Muller, Schweinsteiger, Ribery; Mandzukic
Subs: Starke, Dante, Rafinha, Shaqiri, Gustavo, Tymoshchuk, Gomez
