Neymar returns to training with Barcelona

Barcelona forward Neymar returns to light training following an ankle injury.

Barcelona have been boosted by the news that Neymar has returned to light training.

The Brazilian forward has not played for the Spanish champions since limping out of their Copa del Rey clash with Getafe in the middle of last month, with scans revealing a severely sprained ankle.

It had initially been feared that the former Santos forward would miss Barcelona's Champions League last-16 first leg with Manchester City on February 18.

However, Neymar underwent a light training session with a fitness coach on Monday morning and could reportedly return to first-team training next week.

The 21-year-old has scored 11 times in 26 games this season.
