Andre Dias rejects Atletico Mineiro

The agent of Lazio defender Andre Dias has revealed that his client has rejected the chance to join Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro this summer.

The 34-year-old, who joined Lazio from Sao Paulo in 2010, has been linked with a number of clubs since the end of the season.

"We received several different proposals, above all from Atletico Mineiro very recently," his representative Gilmar Rinaldi told LaLazioSiamoNoi.

"However, Andre said he wants to remain at Lazio until the end of his contract, which means one more season. Will there be another renewal? We'll see later on."

Dias made 22 appearances for Lazio last season.
