Report: Atletico Madrid want Alberto Moreno

Atletico Madrid will reportedly move for Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno in the summer should first-choice left-back Filipe Luis depart the Spanish outfit.

Luis, who is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in European football, has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, who are preparing to replace long-serving Patrice Evra.

According to AS, Spanish international Moreno has been identified by boss Diego Simeone as the ideal replacement for Luis.

Moreno, 21, has been deployed in an attacking midfield area for Sevilla in 2014, but is primarily seen as a left-back.
