Reported Man United, Chelsea target Miranda arrives for Inter Milan medical

Atletico Madrid defender Miranda has moved a step closer to finalising a move away from the Vicente Calderon.

The Brazil international has been linked with a switch to the Premier League this summer, with both Manchester United and Chelsea said to be interested in his services.

However, the English duo have lost out to Inter Milan, who confirmed on their official Twitter page earlier today that the 30-year-old had arrived in Italy for a medical.

There have been suggestions that Miranda will sign a two-year loan deal at San Siro.
