Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui will spend the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Wolfsburg after the two clubs agreed a deal for the Frenchman.
The 23-year-old arrived at Atletico from Saint-Etienne last summer, but struggled to force his way into Diego Simeone's first XI, before returning to his former club on loan.
The defensive midfielder had been expected to challenge for a place at the Vicente Calderon this season, but another loan deal has been sanctioned.
"We have an agreement in principal with the player and Atletico. Our aim is to have him with us as soon as possible," Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs said in a statement.
Guilavogui made just seven appearances for Atletico last season.
