Joshua Guilavogui to battle for Atletico Madrid spot?

Joshua Guilavogui will reportedly reject outside interest to remain with Atletico Madrid this summer.

The French midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan with Saint-Etienne after failing to gain a spot in the Atletico side and it had been suggested that a permanent deal was on the cards.

However, according to Football Espana, the 23-year-old is intent on improving himself to head coach Diego Simeone in pre-season.

The former Toulon youth has made five international appearances for his country.
