Atletico's Torres joins Porto on loan

Atletico Madrid midfielder Oliver Torres has rejoined Porto on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old previously enjoyed a stint with the Portuguese side during the 2014-15 campaign, scoring seven goals in 26 Primeira Liga appearances.

In a statement, Porto said that the capture of Torres provides a "significant enhancement" to their squad, describing him as "one of the most cherished players of recent seasons".

Torres joined Atletico at the age of 13 before being introduced to the senior side by manager Diego Simeone at the age of just 17 in 2012.
