Team News: Diego Costa, David Villa start up front for Atletico Madrid

David Villa and Diego Costa both start up front for Atletico Madrid in their away match against Malaga in La Liga.

Atletico Madrid have named David Villa and Diego Costa in their starting lineup for their first La Liga match since the Christmas break.

However, the visitors are without suspended duo Gabi and Raul Garcia, while new signing Jose Sosa is among the substitutes.

Juanmi is the sole striker for home side Malaga as they look to make it three La Liga wins in a row.

Sergi Darder and Samuel start in midfield, but there is not place in the starting XI for Roque Santa Cruz and Duda.

Malaga: Caballero, Gamez, Sanchez, Weligton, Angeleri, Antunes, Camacho, Darder, Eliseu, Samuel, Juanmi

Atletico: Courtois, Juanfran, Godin, Miranda, Luis, Tiago, Koke, Turan, Torres, Costa, Villa
