Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Rayo Vallecano

Sports Mole's preview of the La Liga clash between Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

Atletico Madrid host Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday, with both sides looking to add to their opening-day wins.

The hosts managed an excellent result away to Sevilla, with Diego Costa scoring twice in a 3-1 win for Diego Simeone's side.

Vallecano dispatched Elche 3-0 at home but will face a different prospect entirely in Madrid.

Simeone has a full squad to choose from and could line up with the same XI that beat Seville.

For Rayo, Jose Carlos is missing through injury, but otherwise will be able to name a competitive side.
