David Villa, Tiago Mendes miss Atletico Madrid training

David Villa and Tiago Mendes were both absent for Atletico Madrid's training session in the Spanish capital on Wednesday morning.

It is unclear why Villa missed the morning workout, while midfielder Tiago is believed to be suffering with a muscular injury that he picked up in training.

However, according to reports in Spain, the pair will be fit to face Almeria in La Liga at the Vicente Calderon this weekend.

Koke, Mario Suarez, Javier Manquillo and Oliver Torres were also absent due to international commitments with Spain.
