Atletico Madrid have reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League after a 3-0 away win against Besiktas.

The result on the night was enough to give the Spaniards a 6-1 aggregate victory.

Adrian grabbed the first goal of the game after 26 minutes when he fired past Cenk Gonen in the Besiktas goal.

Adrian and Arda Turan both had further efforts after the break as Madrid were rarely troubled by their opponents.

The match was put beyond doubt with seven minutes to play as the ever-dangerous Falcao headed in before Eduardo Salvio found the net in injury time.
