Spanish midfielder Mario Suarez believes that Atletico Madrid have the tools to enjoy a successful season on all fronts.
The capital outfit currently sit second in La Liga – level on points with leaders Barcelona – while they have already booked their spot in the latter stages of the Champions League.
Suarez, who is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury, is hopeful that the club will be "fighting for many great things" at the end of the season.
"We are taking things game by game. This is how we are getting the results we've gotten so far and so that's how we must continue," he told reporters at a press conference.
"On Wednesday, we have an important Champions League match against Porto, we're going to go out to win and on Sunday, we have another against Valencia. That's our mentality and we hope that in May we will be fighting for many great things."
Atletico have lost just once in all competitions this season.
