Villa, Norwich keen on Ross McCormack?

Fulham are reportedly braced for summer bids from Aston Villa and Norwich City for the services of captain Ross McCormack.

In February, the Scottish striker agreed terms on a new three-year contract at Craven Cottage, which appeared to put an end to speculation surrounding his future.

However, The Telegraph claims that a £12m release clause was inserted into those fresh terms.

As a result, the report adds, Villa have identified McCormack as the man to spearhead their first campaign in the second tier of English football since 1988.

Meanwhile, Norwich are likely to enter the running if, as expected, they are relegated from the Premier League.

McCormack, who joined Fulham from Leeds United in 2014, scored 23 goals this season.
