Brett Holman holds no grudge

Australian Brett Holman has insisted that he holds no grudge against Aston Villa after leaving the club.

The 29-year-old departed Villa for Al Nasr last week, just one season after joining the Premier League club from AZ Alkmaar.

"It is a move that you have to put a lot of thought into. It's a big step. The Premier League is a fantastic competition and I was at a great club, Aston Villa," he told The National.

"They treated me really well, but it wasn't meant to be there. I have a lot of ambition and so does this club Al Nasr."

Holman has 60 international caps to his name.
