Nicklas Helenius excited by Aston Villa interest

Aalborg BK striker Nicklas Helenius has expressed his excitement over a possible move to Aston Villa.

The 22-year-old Danish international is reported to be on the verge of joining the Premier League club ahead of the new season.

"Aston Villa is a very exciting club known to use young players," Helenius told Nordjyske.

"Therefore, I think the club will be taking me to England and letting me play. I do not want to come to England to sit on the bench."

Helenius, who has won two senior caps for Denmark, scored 16 goals last season.
