"Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Joe Gauci from Adelaide United," read a statement from the club.
"The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins from the Australian side for an undisclosed fee.
"He is currently with the Socceroos squad at the 2023 Asian Cup and will link up with Villa upon his return from the tournament.
"The transfer is subject to international clearance and obtaining a visa."
