Paul Lambert: "We were worthy of the win"

Aston Villa manager has praised striker Christian Benteke following his side's 2-0 victory over Swansea City in the Premier League.

The Belgian made his debut as a substitute in the second half and managed to score his first goal in England as he impressed at Villa Park.

Lambert said: "I thought Christian Benteke was unplayable at times. He's only 21, but plays for the Belgium national team. The big lad will do fine for us.

"We were worthy of the win. We were excellent."

Villa have moved to 11th in the Premier League after the win over Swansea.
