Shay Given returns to training

Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given has returned to training following his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The Republic of Ireland international has missed a number of matches with the complaint that he sustained during Villa's 1-0 loss to Manchester United last month.

No date has been set for Given's return, although he is expected to be back between the posts for Villa by the end of the month.

Given joined Villa in 2011 from Manchester City for a fee believed to be £3.5m.
