Aston Villa, Reading charged by FA

Aston Villa and Reading have been charged by the Football Association in relation to crowd disturbances.

Villa are alleged to have "failed to ensure that no spectators or unauthorised persons were permitted to encroach onto the pitch" during their FA Cup sixth-round win at home to West Bromwich Albion last month.

Reading have been charged with same offence following their sixth-round-replay triumph against Bradford City at the Madejski Stadium.

Both clubs have until Thursday to respond to the charges.
