Monaco summer signing Radamel Falcao has insisted that he is at Monaco to stay for the long-term to try to turn the club into a European force.
Falcao said that as well as the club's ambitions, the fact that he was a key part of the project convinced him to sign for Monaco over other interested teams.
"Monaco have a long-term project, and the board want to take the club to a high level in European football," Falcao told Futbolred.
"That won't happen in one season, so I will remain a long time at the club, anything can happen after that.
"Everyone likes to be valued, and to be in a place where they give importance to your work. Being a key part in this project enticed me."
The 27-year-old has scored 17 times in 45 games for Colombia.
