West Ham United 'make final offer for Carlos Bacca'

West Ham United reportedly launch one final attempt to sign Carlos Bacca from AC Milan, making an improved bid of £28m.

West Ham United have made a final offer for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, according to reports.

The Hammers were thought to be closing in on a £25m move for the Colombia international last week, but that switch has since broken down after AC Milan rejected the offer.

The likes of Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are understood to be monitoring the situation, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports that West Ham are determined to sign the frontman.

The report goes on to state that they have decided to make one last improved offer of £28m as they continue their search for a new striker this summer.

Slaven Bilic's side have already failed in attempts to sign Michy Batshuayi, Alexandre Lacazette and Callum Wilson during this transfer window, while incumbent strikers Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia have been linked with moves away from the club.

Bacca scored 20 goals in 42 appearances for AC Milan last season.
