Arsene Wenger refuses to rule out any more new signings in January.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he won't rule out more new signings in January.

The Frenchman has already re-signed Thierry Henry on a short-term loan deal to bulk up his thin squad.

Arsenal are expected to make another move in the January transfer window, with a defender being the most likely arrival. The North London side are struggling for full-backs after suffering an injury crisis.

Lyon's Aly Cissokho is reportedly the player Wenger wants to bring in to help ease the strain on his squad.

"At the moment nothing, we don't have a concrete case but we don't rule it out. A loan defender is the likely scenario," said Wenger.

"I am expecting a quiet market. Europe is depressed and there is not a lot of money available, only some clubs who have exceptional resources.

"Let's say that clubs who are not linked with the economic environment at the moment can buy."

Arsenal face Leeds tonight in the FA Cup 3rd round.
