The agent of reported Liverpool target Arda Turan has claimed that the Atletico Madrid winger would like to work with Arsenal's Arsene Wenger one day.

Turan has been an important player for Madrid this season, with Turkish international helping to shake up La Liga's top-three standings.

"He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England," said Turan's agent Ahmed Bulut, according to the Daily Star.

"But Arda will not leave Atletico yet. They are part of the title race and he is a key player.

"Arda plays for a big club and he will be part of Atletico's success. I would like to emphasise again that Arda recently extended his contract. He will be staying at Atletico."

However, despite the speculation of a proposed transfer, Turan only signed a contract extension with the Madrid-based club last year.
