Barcelona's Alex Song not thinking about Arsenal return

Barcelona midfielder Alex Song says that he is "fully committed" to the club following rumours that he could return to Arsenal.

Barcelona midfielder Alex Song has played down suggestions that he could return to Arsenal in the future.

The 26-year-old has been unable to secure a regular starting position at Camp Nou since signing for the club last year.

Due to his lack of first-team football, rumours have emerged claiming that the Gunners are monitoring the midfielder's situation in La Liga.

"I don't know what will happen tomorrow," Song told RMC. "I spent seven fantastic seasons there but honestly I'm not asking myself that question for the moment. We'll take whatever comes. For the moment I'm fully committed to Barca."

Song started just 17 league matches for Barca last season.
