Santi Cazorla "very happy" at Arsenal

Santi Cazorla refutes speculation linking him to Atletico Madrid by insisting that he is "very happy" at Arsenal.

Santi Cazorla has ruled out the prospect of leaving Arsenal this summer amid speculation linking him to Atletico Madrid.

Reports have previously suggested that the La Liga champions are monitoring Cazorla's situation after the Spaniard endured a mixed second season in North London last term.

The Gunners have added the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy to their ranks thus far, and the 29-year-old says that he is "very happy" to remain at the Emirates Stadium.

"I feel good, I am staying very happy playing for Arsenal and the team now is more strong with the new players and I hope we win the trophy for the fans," he told reporters.

Cazorla has a further two years to run on his existing Arsenal contract.
