Report: Lukas Podolski close to Inter Milan loan

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski will reportedly travel to Italy on Friday evening to conclude a loan move to Inter Milan.

The German international has been strongly linked with a move to San Siro in recent weeks, but Arsenal have thus far rejected the interest.

The World Cup winner has become increasingly frustrated with life at Arsenal, however, and reportedly stormed out of training earlier this week.

According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal have now signed off on the deal and the forward will travel to Milan on Friday to join the Italian outfit.

The loan deal is expected to last until the end of the season.
