Report: Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy seeking loan move

A report claims that Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is only prepared to leave the Emirates on loan this month, rather than on a permanent deal.

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is reportedly only prepared to leave the Gunners on loan this month rather than on a permanent deal.

The 30-year-old has only played two Premier League games for his London club this season after losing his spot in the side to Hector Bellerin.

The Frenchman recently admitted that he "cannot stay at Arsenal" due to his lack of first-team action, but according to L'Equipe, the right-back is still confident that he has a long-term future at the Emirates.

The former Newcastle United defender, who has been linked with German side Bayer Leverkusen, has not featured for Arsenal since November.
