Leicester City have reportedly targeted Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi ahead of a potential approach in January.
The Foxes were linked with a long list of attackers over the summer, and Brendan Rodgers is said to have prioritised that area to improve his side in the coming transfer window.
According to The Boot Room, the Foxes have identified Elyounoussi as a prime target to bolster their attacking ranks, although they face competition from Arsenal for his signature.
The Midlands outfit were reportedly eyeing up Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, but after the Italian side's latest valuation, they may be priced out of a deal and are now said to have focused their attention on the Southampton man.
After a two-year loan spell with Celtic, in which he netted 24 goals and contributed 14 assists in 67 games, the Norwegian international returned to the Saints for the new season, and he netted his first league goal of the campaign in his first appearance as they drew 2-2 with Newcastle United.
The 27-year-old has featured in every outing since that draw, supposedly catching the eyes of Leicester as well as the Gunners.
