Alexandre Lacazette open to move to Spain or England

Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette admits that he would be open to moving to either Spain or England in the future.

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has given his reported suitors a boost by revealing that he would like to play in Spain or England in the future.

Newcastle failed to bring the Frenchman to St James' Park in the summer, and he has since been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool due to his impressive record of 19 goals in 20 appearances this season.

However, Premier League clubs could face competition for Lacazette, with reports in France claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are considering approaching Lyon with an offer.

"Between England and Spain, I don't have a preference," the 23-year-old told Yahoo. "I dreamt about Barca when I was little, but once you grow up you know you cannot be on just one club.

"I will not be leaving for the sake of it, I have medium and long term aims, after that we will see what is best for me.

"PSG? We will see, it is hard to answer that now. To play with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and Lucas [Moura], I cannot say that I cannot see myself in this attack, but it would more likely be a departure abroad. Afterwards, you never know what might happen."

Manchester City were also reported to be monitoring Lacazette's situation before targeting Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony.
