Lorient's Matteo Guendouzi hints at imminent Arsenal move

Matteo Guendouzi offers a subtle hint that he is on his way to Arsenal from Lorient in a deal rumoured to be worth £7m.

Young french midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has dropped a subtle hint that his move from Lorient to Arsenal is close to being completed.

Guendouzi, who made nine appeared for the Ligue 1 side last season, emerged as a potential target for the Gunners over the weekend.

In the wake of media reports claiming that Arsenal are confident of announcing their latest arrival on Monday, Guendouzi 'liked' one such post on his personal Twitter account.

The link showed a compilation of the 19-year-old's best moves and skills, earning the seal of approval from the £7m-rated youngster, although he has since 'unliked' the post.

Arsenal are also on the verge of signing Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria following Uruguay's exit from the World Cup last week.
