Eljero Elia completes a move to Juventus, describing the club as the "biggest in Italy".

Eljero Elia has completed a move from Hamburg to Juventus on a four-year deal.

The Turin club have parted with €9m (£8m) for the Dutch international's services.

"I know a lot about Juventus," Elia told the club's official website. "This is the biggest club in Italy.

"I know I can bring speed and skill to Juventus, and I hope to score a lot of goals."

The 23-year-old's representative had stated that the winger would prefer a move to England.

Arsenal and Liverpool were reportedly interested in the winger.
