Lee Dixon says that Gonzalo Higuain would be a success at Arsenal should he move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Arsenal legend Lee Dixon has tipped Gonzalo Higuain to star at the club should he move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Argentine has been linked with a move to the Gunners and Juventus for the past month now, but a switch to London looks even likelier following Carlos Tevez's imminent transfer to the Italians as well as Real Madrid's appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as manager.

Dixon believes that Higuain, who is claimed by some reports to have already undergone a medical with Arsenal, would be a hit in North London.

"If it comes off [Higuain signing for Arsenal], hopefully from an Arsenal point of view, he's quality through and through," Dixon told Sky Sports News.

"He will score goals there's no doubt about that. He will get chances at Arsenal because they do create chances, they play his type of game so I think he'll fit in really well."

Arsenal and Madrid have apparently settled on a £22m fee for the striker.
