Chris Hughton: 'No contact from Arsenal over Scott Dann'

Birmingham manager Chris Hughton has revealed that Arsenal have placed no formal bids for defender Scott Dann.

The Midlands club, who were demoted to the Championship last season, were reportedly in talks with the Gunners over a potential move for the centre back.

"I'm not aware of any contact from Arsenal," Sky Sports News quotes Hughton as saying.

"But whether Scott will be with us after the deadline, I don't know."

Meanwhile, Merseyside club Liverpool are also reportedly interested in the defender.
