Malaga winger Santi Cazorla has reportedly told Arsenal that he wants a move to the Premier League after having wage issues in Spain.
The 27-year-old wants to leave Malaga, despite only joining the big-spending club last summer, as wages were unpaid and promises are said to have been broken.
Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger is keen to sign the Spaniard, whom he monitored last summer, and is hopeful that an offer of €20m (£16m) can close the deal, according to The Guardian.
Malaga have been in discussions with the Gunners but are said to want a fee much nearer Cazorla's release clause of €45m (£35m).
