Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is reportedly set to join Real Betis on a season-long loan deal, despite the Spaniard being linked with a move to Barcelona.

The 26-year-old has expressed his desire to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, as he seeks a fresh challenge.

Barcelona have been interested in the right-back, who could be looking to sign a replacement for Emerson Royal, who is undergoing a medical with Tottenham Hotspur.

However, according to Goal, Bellerin is closing in on a temporary move to his boyhood club Real Betis for the 2021-22 campaign.

Bellerin has made 239 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners, winning three FA Cups in 2015, 2017 and 2020.

Arsenal will now be looking to replace Bellerin in the final few hours of the transfer window, with Cedric Soares, Calum Chambers and Ainsley Maitland-Niles their current options at right-back.
